Yoga and Meditation Retreat

A journey of discovery on an undiscovered island…

Lose track of time and create space in your body and mind amonst the peaceful islands and pristine seas of the Isles of Scilly. Join us for a yoga and meditation retreat that offers an equnimity of restorative and rejuvenative practices.

Arriving Friday 20th September to depart Monday 23rd September 2019.

The three nights include:

  • Three nights accommodation – 3 rosette 3 course dinner, bed and breakfast
  • 7 yoga and meditation classes with Gem & Billy
  • Welcome mocktail at the arrival meet and greet
  • Complimentary entrance into Tresco Abbey Garden
  • Inter-island transfers between St Mary's airport and Hell Bay Hotel

The cost of this break is £855.00 per person for a shared suite or £1035.00 per person for a private suite.
Additional nights can be added at the end of the break so you can fully unwind and reflect at your leisure.

In your free time there is the option to enjoy one of our ilã spa treatments to help unwind.

About the yoga: The style of yoga is Vinyasa flow. Vinyasa is a flowing, dynamic sequence of postures involving the synchronisation of breath with movement. This fluid, creative practice increases flexibility, strength and stamina, calms the mind and improves overall health.  We will also practice mediation to cultivate a deeper state of awareness and yoga nidra which eases tension and promotes peaceful sleep.

About the teachers:
Gem has adapted her practice over the years to suit her lifestyle, enjoying pregnancy yoga, attending vinyasa flow classes and now has a daily home practice. She particularly enjoys studying and is looking forward to training in different styles and approaches. Gem believes in yoga's incredible capacity to find harmony between the opposing energies of the world and aims to create classes that offer both strength and serenity. She is thrilled to be teaching yoga in her island home. Gem is accredited with 250 hours certified by Yoga Alliance and holds a Level 3 First Aid Certificate.

Billy discovered yoga and meditation sometime in early nineties Australia and has practised various styles throughout the years ever since, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot but always maintaining his practice.  He first thought of doing Yoga Teacher Training in 1996, and after 22 years of mindful consideration he undertook and qualified as a Vinyasa Teacher (Yoga Alliance 250 hours) in 2018! Billy loves his yoga and likes to put together a strong, fluid Vinyasa class.  His musical background means he also rocks a groovy Kirtan!
