What a week, what a season…

What a better way to cap off another fantastic season.

Philip is currently on his way back from London having been to the 2017 Good Hotel Guide’s Cesar Awards, where we won the prestigious Seaside Hotel of the Year. With only 10 awards given out each year to the best hotels around the United Kingdom it has been a real honour to be included. 

Also this week we found out we are finalist at the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2016/17. With a slight category change we are in the running for Hotel of the Year. For the past 3 consecutive years we have been fortunate to walk away with gold, we have our fingers and toes crossed for similar success on 3rd November.

Our restaurant can not be forgotten, Richard and his team have been successful in holding onto the 3 rosettes for a 4th year running. An added bonus for us is being shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Hotel Restaurant of the Year category at the Cornwall Life awards later this month.

Our 2016 season is drawing to an end. Once again it has been an extremely successful year with the hotel with more award nominations, great feedback and being busier then ever. We look forward to welcoming back familiar faces, as well as new ones, in 2017.
