Hello from Bryher…
Looking through my pictures the other day, I came across this great shot from last summer; what better way to travel to a meeting?!
It’s hard to believe that already summer is just around the corner, and soon we’ll be able to get back out on the water – and open the doors of Hell Bay Hotel for the 2016 season.
When you head back to Hell Bay this year you’ll find many things have stayed the same. Bryher is still utterly beautiful, peaceful and unspoilt, and there will be plenty of familiar faces around the hotel as many of our seasonal staff return for another year.
There have been some changes, though. Many of our rooms have enjoyed a winter revamp, Richard and the team have been busy in the kitchen devising new menus, and our therapists have an enticing new spa treatment list for you to sample.
We reached the South West Tourism Awards finals and were awarded gold for Best Small Hotel at the glitzy ceremony held at Exeter Cathedral on 4th February 2016. We can now boast two gold and a silver South West Tourism Awards.
Our team now hopes to add another trophy to the collection after hearing that we are also Small Hotel of the Year finalists at Visit England’s National Awards for Excellence, which will be held in March.
