3 AA Rosette Restaurant

Scilly's highest-rated restaurant, we're proud of our 3 AA Rosette rating, and islanders and visitors journey from across the islands to dine with us.

Head Chef Richard Kearsley and his team prepare the finest food on the islands using the freshest island produce. Daily changing menus serve up delicious dinners inspired by the islands, using ingredients like Bryher crab and lobster, and vegetables freshly dug from the island farm.

Think dishes like tender Hell Bay gin cured salmon, succulent roast partridge, pan-roasted sea bass and Richard's sensational tangy lemon meringue pie.

By evening, dine in the contemporary yet intimate Czar restaurant - named after one of our historic island pilot gigs - and lap up the views as the sun sets over Gweal Hill and dips into the Atlantic.

Please note: between 9th July to 2nd September, we offer a more flexible menu, offering a selection of dishes that would usually grace our 3AA Rosette menu combined with favourites from our bar menu.

Starter

Thai scented sweet potato soup

Cornish sardines two ways; crumbed and pickled, heritage tomato salsa, dill and lemon aioli

Roasted red pepper and heritage tomato torn bread salad, red wine vinegar and caper dressing

 

Main Course

Fillet of John Dory, potato, carrot and samphire fricassée, scallops, vermouth sauce

Roasted fillet of Cornish beef, garlic parsley purée, smoked mash potato, kale, red wine jus

Roasted butternut squash, charred broccoli, hash brown, green houmous

 

Dessert

Caramelised apple tart tatin, blackcurrant cheesecake ice cream

White chocolate mousse, banana and lime purée, dark chocolate, caramelised banana

A selection of cheeses, including Rosary goats cheese, Tunworth, Dorset Blue & Godminster
